Icelandic Glacial™ is the super-premium natural spring water from the “Land Of Fire and Ice”.
Home to glaciers, spouting geysers, volcanoes and raging rivers, Iceland is one of the world’s cleanest ecosystems. It’s also home to the legendary Ölfus Spring, the source of Icelandic Glacial.  Formed more than 5,000 years ago and shielded by an impenetrable barrier of lava rock, the Spring is constantly replenished by rain, snow and ice-melt from the nearby mountains.  The water is slowly and naturally filtered through layers of volcanic rock, thereby producing a natural spring water so pure that nothing is added or taken away.
Naturally Protected. Continually Renewed

In order to help preserve the beautiful majestic landscape of Iceland, Icelandic Glacial™ is sourced from the naturally replenishing underground Ölfus Spring.

The legendary Ölfus Spring was forged during a massive volcanic eruption over 5,000 years ago. Shielded by an impenetrable layer of lava rock and surrounded by a 128,000 acre exclusion zone, the Spring is constantly replenished by a gradual filtration of rainfall and snowmelt over uninhabited and untouched lava fields.

A Natural, Renewable Product

With over 900,000 cubic meters of water overflowing from the Ölfus Spring into the ocean every day, it’s one of the world’s largest natural springs. Indeed, the overflow alone is more than twice the amount of all bottled water consumed worldwide. Taking great care never to damage or deplete the Spring, Icelandic Glacial sources less than 0.1% of the total water that naturally flows to the surface.

The Facility

Icelandic Glacial also takes great pride in running a completely sustainable operation fueled entirely by geothermal and hydroelectric power. At 7,688 sq. ft., the world class facility is one of the world’s greenest and cleanest. Fully automated and hands-free, the facility is capable of producing up to 30,000 bottles per hour. The filling process takes place in a clean room environment held to the highest laboratory standards. The water for Icelandic Glacial travels directly from the underground spring into the bottling facility, which maintains a positive air pressure to impede the outside air. The first time Icelandic Glacial comes into contact with the open air is when the bottle seal is broken. Nothing is ever added or taken away.
